II.2.4) Description of procurement: Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL) is a limited company, limited by a single share wholly owned by Hertfordshire County Council (HCC). It is a specialist contract caterer delivering catering service in the education sector. We are looking for a suitable qualified contractor to provide a professional repairs and maintenance service for our kitchen catering equipment in schools. The Service will be divided into two main elements; planned preventative maintenance and a responsive repairs service. The suitable contractor will have the resources to deliver it's services across multiple school sites in Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties (Bedfordshire, Cambridge, Essex) and North London.
The Contract will be awarded for an initial term of five years, with the option to extend the Contract up to two years. The estimated annual total value of the contract is £530,000 excluding VAT. The estimated total value of the contract including the contract extensions is £3,710,000.
