II.2.4) Description of procurement: The Authority is seeking a strategic partner to complete the vision to establish a large CDC Model to include Endoscopy. The large CDC will add to the current Standard CDC and CDC Spoke located in Corby and Northampton. This large archetype CDC will be in the Northampton area of the county. The scope of the procurement is to identify land or existing buildings, to design and build a facility, to include staff and equipment to deliver diagnostic tests to meet the future demand for the Northamptonshire population.
The CDC will include the full range of tests required to meet the criteria of a large CDC and the following table shows the tests that will be provided by the external partner and the Authority. Services to be provided by the external provider are Endoscopy, MRI, CT, Non-Obstetric Ultrasound, Plain Film Xray, Trans Thoracic Echocardiogram (TTE) and Phlebotomy. The Authority will provide the remaining tests using their own staff and equipment and so, the facility must provide clinic rooms for this activity. The Authority would be grateful if providers would message indicate if they intend to respond and if not, the reasons as to why that decision has been taken
