NIHR are seeking a supplier with Moodle development experience to take on the existing National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Learning Management System and provide managed support consisting of;
●Working with business owners to deliver business changes in line with change budgets that have been set
●Being responsive to changing business situations
●Recognising that customer experience and usability are critical
●Adhering to good security practices e.g. ISO27001 and development practices e.g. GDS
●Aligning with RDNCC’s management approach to other IT services and where necessary working with other suppliers

Please note that the University of Leeds is not a contracting authority for the purposes of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (Directive 2014/24/EU) as amended by the Public Procurement (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. However, the University is, on a voluntary basis, operating under the Public Contracts Regulations (as defined above) for this specific tender and is therefore advertising this opportunity in Find a Tender and Contracts Finder with an obligation to comply with the Public Contract Regulations for this specific tender. Once a user has enrolled onto a course, the platform then allows them to complete their training and receive a certificate once complete. It is used annually by thousands of users with a plan to continue developing it further.

It is a Moodle platform (currently software version 4.3) with a range of Moodle ‘plug-ins’ (plus some bespoke coding). The basic scope is to host and provide application support for a Moodle estate which comprises;

●A test environment (to mirror Live)
●A development environment
