We would expect the successful applicant to have relevant and current experience of working within the cultural sector in particular museums and exhibitions, and within preventive conservation, to provide credibility to the advice given in support of a national scheme. The successful applicant must have experience of applying collections care/preventative conservation in heritage collections and an understanding of current/emerging international standards e.g. BIZOT.
