Short Description: | The House of Lords is seeking to procure a Main Contractor for the refurbishment of theGrade II listed building at 6/7 Old Palace Yard. This project is driven by the results of condition surveys andQuadrennial Reviews. Prepare the buildinginfrastructure to leverage the benefits of future estate-wide electrical power, heating and cooling programmes to improve resilience, monitoring, consumption, emissions and ongoing cost. Improve the accessibility to thebuilding for the widest range of people, which will be achieved though the provision of an internal lift that willaccess all floors of the building. Upgrade and modernise ICT infrastructure.- Reduce maintenance and runningcosts.- Standardise and improve the internal arrangement and decoration/finishes in a manner that is consistentand considerate to the conservation of a Georgian building.The form of contract will be GC Works and the valueof the contract will be up to approximately GBP 4.2 million. |
