Stevenage Borough Council, East Herts District Council and North Herts District Council are jointly procuring and will select a single supplier based on the award criteria identified in the tender documents. Each Council will sign its own contract with the successful tenderer and shall manage its own contract during the term. The contracts shall be for a period of 5 years (with a break clause option from the anniversary of the third year and an option to extend for up to a further 24 months). The contracts are envisaged to commence from 1 October 2013. The estimated total value across the contracts for the 5 years plus up to 24 month extension is between £1,500,000 and £2,000,000 excluding VAT.
