      Scope & Specification The work for 2025 will involve the construction, installation and repairs of around 2kms of pathways in the Country Park. Hockley Woods is in south-east Essex and is also owned by Rochford District Council and has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is likely during this tender that pathway works will also need to be undertaken within the 130 hectares of the woods. The Country Park pathways will consist of the following spec, •Excavation & levelling for the new path. •Removal of excess spoil. •Pathway width: 1.5 meters. •Supply and place geotextile base. •Supply, lay and compact 150mm depth of type 1 granite. •Supply, lay and compact 10mm of 0-6mm granite dust.
