      II.2.4) Description of the procurement: The East Road Building (ERB) is part of the British Museum’s overall South West Energy Centre (SWEC) Programme. The SWEC programme is an estate-wide array of projects to decarbonise the British Museum’s Bloomsbury Estate. The East Road Building project comprises the replacement of the existing East Road building located in the north-east corner of the Bloomsbury site with a new building, circa 680sm, spread over basement, ground and first floors. The East Road building will primarily provide space for site-wide central plant room as well as workshops spaces for carpentry, electrical and locksmiths and maintenance facilities; and welfare, changing and WC facilities.
