Provision of design services to medium/higher complexity Works Contracts which will generally have a value in excess of £5m. (Design services requirements for Works Contracts below this threshold will be covered by separate procurement arrangements).
The scope of this framework will be:
1)Architectural design services for new buildings, building extensions/fit-outs/refurbishment/re-configuration and for outdoor areas.
2)Engineering design services for mechanical, electrical and public health installations for building, civil engineering and other structures.
3)Structural and Civil engineering design services for the construction of civil engineering works, new buildings, building extensions, fit-out/ refurbishment/ re-configuration and for airfield works, for load-bearing structure verification, for site investigation and for ancillary building services
Potential bidders are required to offer all of the above services, which are to be provided in a manner that supports Gatwick Airport Limited’s business objectives – in particular to become and remain London’s airport of choice – and to enable Gatwick Airport to achieve its published service levels.

An access code enabling download of the PQQ from the Gatwick Airport Limited e-Delta tendering platform will then be released.
There will also be an opportunity to attend a Supplier Forum at Gatwick Airport on 26th February 2016, at which further information on Gatwick Airport Limited’s design services requirements and the procurement process will be made available. Applications for two places at the Forum should be e-mailed to the contact in Section I.1) by 18.00hrs on 24th February 2016. Based on consideration of the PQQ and Forum content, the Bidder should then confirm, through the e-tendering platform their intention to submit a completed PQQ by the required date.
